Kate Bostwick, aka Cowtown Knits, is a newcomer to GLYC sponsorship this year, and we're so thrilled that she's joining us!
To be fair, as soon as she showed up at the YITC Knit Night her fate was sealed, as we've gotten to see a number of her designs develop over a pint or two on Wednesday nights...
Kate's designs range from sweaters to accessories to homewares and blankets, and she loves to combine colours and texture in interesting and unexpected ways.
This gorgeous shawl pairs a gradient yarn with a solid in an intriguing combination of slipped stitches and garter stitch stripes. This is a perfect project for some of those tempting skeins of 4 ply that you may pick up on Saturday!
Kate is also running a knit along for Lambton Panes that launches on the day of the Yarn Crawl! Check out the thread in her group for more information, and keep an eye out for that perfect Lambton Pane yarns on the day. The knit along runs until the beginning of November making it the perfect knit along to get you ready for the Yarnporium!
