There’s something a little bit magical about a trip to Liberty: the hundreds of years old beams in the building and well-trodden floors always make us wonder about fabric and yarns that graced the shelves in days gone by and what projects they went off to become.
The haberdashery department at Liberty is still a stalwart of the third floor. The famous Liberty Tana Lawn lines the shelves ringed around one of the atriums and through another doorway are notions, buttons, kits from Merchant & Mills, Stitch & Story, patterns, and more.
The more includes yarn, of course. And as a flagship for Rowan Yarns, Liberty carries every line and every colour, along with more than enough pattern books and magazines to get you going on a new project.
Visiting Liberty as part of the yarn crawl? Make sure you take your passport to the payment desk in the haberdashery department to be stamped. They’ll also be offering a 10% discount on Rowan products as well as holding a raffle to win some signed knitting books!
