Now that the cold weather is settling in, its time to start thinking about the holidays. Now some people are super organised with their holiday shopping - lists done in August, all presents wrapped and ready to go by the beginning of December - but if you're one of the many who aren't quite so prepared, we've got a perfect solution for all of your holiday gift and crafting needs: the Yarn in the City Bath Road Trip!
We're taking Yarn in the City on the road, and heading to Bath for a day-long extravaganza of yarn, fabric and Christmas Markets! Taking place on Saturday, 29 November, we'll leave from Hammersmith first thing in the morning and head west. Our first stop is at The Shed, where we'll visit brand new yarn boutique A Yarn Story (helmed by the lovely Carmen, who was on Team Wensleydale for this year's GLYC), and a visit to The Shed Christmas Market.
Next we'll head into central Bath, to spend the afternoon at the famous Bath Christmas Market, as well as checking in with fabulous quilting store Country Threads. Late afternoon will see us at a private party at local yarn shop Wool, complete with festive food and drink. Then we'll climb back on the coach and head back to London, with much holiday shopping completed, and maybe a bit of stash enhancement as well.
Tickets are now available for £28, which includes transport to and from Hammersmith. Approximate departure time is 9:00 am (more schedule details on our Events page), and we'll aim to be back at Hammersmith at 9:00 pm, barring any M4 traffic disasters. Spaces are limited, so get your tickets now!
We look forward to seeing you on the road!
