Yarn in the City code of conduct
Yarn in the City celebrates the yarn-loving community of fibre enthusiasts by creating experiential yarn-centric events designed to bring people together in a shared love of craft.
We value makers and the passion they put into their work, the pride that comes from a finished object or a work in progress, and continuously learning new ways to work with yarn and fibre. We value people of all identities, ethnicities, sexualities, abilities, ages, body sizes and gender expressions. We value relationships and fostering a diverse community that is as inclusive as possible and is safe for all of its members.
We are committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment for all guests at our events and stitch nights. We have a zero-tolerance policy toward discrimination for race, ethnicity, country of origin, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, physical ability, size or age. Any form of physical, verbal, non-verbal or sexual harassment against participants at any of our events is prohibited.
We reserve the right to remove anyone who violates this code of conduct and to ban them from future events. This Code of Conduct applies to all vendors, attendees and volunteers at our events, including the shops participating in the Great London Yarn Crawl.
